Shields & Company continued to advise Charter Sysytems in a merger with BISYS, Inc., a NASDAQ-traded company specializing in providing outsourcing services to financial institutions. The transaction provided shareholders with liquidity and the Company with an attractive corporate partner for the future. Charter Systems expected to continue on its growth path with the benefit of access to the established BISYS relationships with financial institutions around the country.
