Thomas J. Shields
Mr. Shields co-founded the firm in 1991. Previously, he was a managing director of Bear, Stearns & Co., and manager of its Boston corporate finance office. He serves on the Board of Directors of numerous public and private companies, including B.J.'s Wholesale Club, Inc., Ensign Bickford and Clean Harbors, Inc., and was formerly chairman of Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Mr. Shields is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School, where he served as president of the Harvard Business School Association of Boston.
