"After another election cycle, we now know that Donald Trump will be the next president of the United States. While he has not yet taken office, the public markets have had eight weeks to let us know what it expects under the new administration. The broad market, defined as the S&P 500, has experienced a 4.6% increase since the election. The administration ran on a platform that touted being business friendly, reducing regulation, and promoting domestic manufacturing. It is of little surprise that all subsectors of the Industrial Products & Services sector have recorded gains since the election and five of the six subsectors have outperformed the broader market."
